A Word From Mike
Just wanted to take this time to post my view of
what appears to be a current ‘craze’, in addition to
granting limited access into a few high profile
launches we didn’t have a solo spot open for (we
don’t play favorites, here. 
)
First item on the program, I’m amazed at how some
of the biggest names in the business … ‘Gurus’ that
have built their self and product brands, and high level
JV associations, through years of hard work and networking
… have decided to open up their ‘JV Programs’ to
allow all partners to bring on an unlimited number of
2nd Tier referrals for an unlimited length of time
during pre launch, making it look more like MLM
recruitment than offering the privilege of bringing
on worthy, close associates. As far as I’m concerned,
it’s a slap in the face to the way a true, one on one
JV relationship is supposed to be created, and nurtured.
Don’t get me wrong … I do support, have used … and
recommended in the past the use of 2 Tier referrals
within a product launch to grow the base … when a
controlled group of qualified associates is introduced
into the program during a specific time period by the
JV Partners already in house.
The key words here are ‘qualified’ and ‘controlled’ …
Introductions should be one on one, or at least made
to a group of individuals that have worked with the
list owner before on JV promotions … not blasted
out to a general prospect list.
If the merchants pulling this nonsense honestly cared
about their existing JV Partners … apparently duped
into the supposed exclusivity of being ‘on the inside’,
and truly intended building long term 2 way relationships
… they would demand the JV invites be qualified
business partners, and put a limit on the recruitment
window to protect the exclusivity and integrity of
the program for their existing partners.
Bottom line – don’t confuse ‘ mass affiliate recruitment’
with ‘extending JV invitations’ … 2 different things.
Anyhoo … I’d be happy to make additional points
to support my opinions on this and related topics
within the JVNP Community … simply ask.
