Joint Venture Brokering Terms As Of 02/18/08

** IMPORTANT **

I’ve noticed a very dangerous trend in regards to the
way Joint Venture partners brought on by JV Brokers
to participate in largely JV fueled campaigns are being
treated … like common affiliates!

The partners I introduce you to, regardless if they’re
A List, B List, or whatever … are not simply affiliates,
but JV partners. It is expected that every legitimate
applicant be given the courtesy of a personal intro
email, and phone call whenever possible. I’m in the
business of building new relationships, not a simple
affiliate recruiter … I’m hoping you can appreciate
that, and that you truly want to make the most of
your JV fueled campaigns … both now and in the
future.

The reason we bring JV partners on board a month or
more in advance of a launch is to give you and/or your
affiliate manager* time to interact with each and every
valid potential participant … to establish and nurture
the relationship, get their input on the product, fully
satisfy the ‘what’s in it for me?’ . You need to make sure
your promotion is a priority, and keep them interested
and focused … while at the same time weeding out the
tire kickers, or negotiating with those that may need
to schedule an alternative promotional time slot due to
conflicts and other difficulties … once you have their
attention, don’t lose them!

If you’re not ready or unwilling to make this
commitment, please … either come back when you
are ready, or find someone else.

group (in regards to expertise) of ‘A’ and ‘B’ list contacts,
and have an announcement sent out to the jvAlert.com
database (if client is not already a member).

What I need to start with …

* Second tier** affiliate referral account based on 2.5 - 10%
commission per referred partner sale … or equivalent flat fee.
* Partner referral link should be a redirect off the product
domain - www.yourproduct.com/jv_invite.html
* JV registration page with all details (what’s in it for
customers, what’s in it for JV partners, registration, etc.)
- or -
* JV letter that accomplishes the same task.
* 4 - 6 weeks notice to JV partners prior to launch for ‘A’
Brokering Job (’A’ and ‘B’ list and review courtesy).
* All systems ready to go at least 14 days prior to launch.

Tracking ClickBank JV referrals and sales has long been
a very disorganized process … in an effort to stay on
top of this a bit (for both my sake and the CB merchant
involved), I’m going to ask CB merchants looking to
qualify for a premium mailing to adhere to the following:

1) I’ll need access to the ClickBank account, or the
easyClickMate account, etc. for the length of the
promotion.

2) You’ll need to set up an email list for me with an
autoresponder company that allows ad codes and
additional fields in forms to gather the name, email,
and ClickBank ID. If you’re not sure if your
autoresponder provider offers this, feel fr.ee to sign
up for a 30 day trial with my AWeber private label
… which does just about anything you’d expect a
quality autoresponder to do, and you’re fr.ee to cancel
after the launch is over.

I can then compare the xl file of partners to the sales
made during an agreed upon length of time (usually
until launch day sales’ refund expiration).

Of course, if I have exclusive access to a
easyClickMate account, that will do … on it’s own,
as all stats will be from my referrals … only.

I’ll need beta testing results and/or references supporting
the quality and effectiveness of your product/service, as
well … including advance review access, before we go any
further.

Also … I am not doing launch time affiliate management
at this time as I’m overbooked* … I’ll be more than happy
to provide assistance during launch and pre launch, but
I really don’t have the time to run an affiliate program
from scratch, right now … please take the necessary
precautions so there isn’t a problem.
